At the top of this blog you will find the link to a page with some scriptures that have been very important to me through the years. I set them to memory as a new wife and have endeavored to live by them ever since. One lady once said to me that she didn’t like this portion of verses because she felt that no one woman could possibly do everything these verses say a capable woman should do. She felt intimidated and discouraged by them. I, on the other hand, felt energized and invigorated by them. Still do. What a glorious challenge to live by something I may never fulfill; to have the purpose for my life all laid out before me. I will never accomplish it all, and have to say, “What now?” Everything I  do for the rest of my life can fit within these verses.

I have moved around, within and without, these verses, but have always held them close to my heart and encouraged others to do the same. They are life giving, in that the joy that comes from endeavoring to live in them, brings a sense of fulfillment that nothing else can.

Find yourself in them, and then chose one that isn’t such a part of you to work on until it is a part of you, and see if it isn’t true… they bring joy!
