As you have heard this is a new blog for me… I have spent the day with my wonderful son in law, David, who was very patient with all of my “not understanding”s and helped me get things “tweaked” just the way I wanted them. What a guy! There is still more to do but enough is enough, at least for this day!
And, all in all, as the day comes to a close, I am feeling one of those “I want my Mommy” experiences and am watching enviously, as Emily snuggles up with her quilt that my daughter, Anna, made for her when she was born. I though to myself, “I want a blanket!” Why can’t we grown ups have security blankets too? Well, just about then, I realized that I DO have one! My daughter, Sarah, made a quilt for me years ago that lives on my bed, albeit Mike’s side. I’m so glad I taught them to sew. So I think I will go and get it, make something warm to eat or drink and snuggle up next to Emily with MY “blinket” and think about being tucked in to a nice new website, all the blessings of a Son-in-law that knows computers, and daughters that know how to quilt :) and then just keep going from there…
