Now, I DO have a set of knitting needles in size 10, but they are VERY long and keep getting caught in my sweater, so doesn’t everyone know that that is sufficient reason to get a new set of needles, shorter ones and double ended ??? Especially if they only cost $.59 (cents)! I am so happy with these “Make Them Yourself” brand of needles!!!
A little bit of dowel, a pencil sharpener, some fine grit sandpaper and some elbow grease!
Now, when I am a more experienced knitter, these might not cut it any longer but while I am still a beginner they are “perfect”!
What’s on your needles?

Georgia! I needed to “stop by” and see what you were up to:) Thank you so much for your gift at Christmas~ so thoughtful. We love cinnamon here and what a happy surprise it was. It looks like you have been creatively busy, and Emily and John doing well with school. How are you ladies enjoying the Waldorph school in Arcata? I miss seeing you~ we’ll have to have another spontanious and serendipitous library “date” soon. Congratulations on your daughter’s soon-coming babe (I saw John, your daughter and your hubby in Arcata a month (?) back) and on Matt and Christine’s! What a blessing for your family~ ever growing and learning. Love to you all and I have to agree~ your John IS so handsome:) Blessings to you, my friend. And happy new year. <3

Hi Robin, What a treat to see that you “stopped by”!!! I am glad you liked the cinnamon. We are enjoying the Waldorf Inspired schooling. The teachers are very kind, gentle and soft spoken and have very good rapport with the children. It is a small group of about 10 children this year. Emily goes in to “class” two days a week for about 2-4 hours both days for poetry writing, and this semester, a “Cafe” class and “Marionette Theater” class. I miss seeing you too! A library date would be fun! If you let me know when you will be there maybe we can meet you and I can bring my knitting too (: Thanks again for the sweet note… Love to you and yours also… <3
