Yes, I am guilty of neglect here! There have been tons of things that have happened in the last few weeks that should have been blogged about but alas, I have been carried off to Flitland and have not wanted to return… But for “this” I must, and once Flitland is recorded sufficiently, I will be back in the ‘real’ world more regularly ;)

“This” is Annie and Dave’s new business adventure: Isn’t it fabulous!!!

She opened her doors with a quality, nearly fully furnished Daycare (no junk here!!!), thanks to some amazing gifts from friends and family…

My favorite place in the room!

Garden beds will go where the old rose bush was (which covered the whole place where the dirt is).

A nice big garage to ride bikes in this winter (that is if they can get it organized in there ;)!

And, how about this amazing fence they built to keep their little ones safe!

I am so happy to finally get to go to Daycare! Emily too! And just like the kids, its hard to go home!!!

Words can’t describe how proud I am of Annie and Dave (and Emmett too) !!!

Although we are sad to see Matt’s chicken coop moved aside (bittersweet), we think our girls will be just as happy in their new home and here is a series of pictures to show how it all happened…

What better birthday present can you get than a new baby???? Matthew was my birthday present 21 years ago and now he gave me one of his own… Brady Matthew Salmon !!!

Isn’t he just the mostest greatest!!! He’s just perfect!!! His Mama did a tremendous job and looked fresh as a daisy when we went to visit right after he was born! How did she do that??? Papa was strutting around like a proud peacock, passing him around so we could all hold him :)

I’ll keep you updated as he takes off on his adventure of growing up!

I have been occupied with helping Annie and Dave prepare for starting up The amazing “Little Sprouts Preschool/Daycare”. They have rented a big house, moved to Eureka, cut, screwed and hammered, built fences, painted, taken out huge rosebushes (the “huge, been there for years” kind), had moving parties and house warmings, picked up loads of furniture and an amazing Library of children’s books, …and more! Whew!!! Makes me tired just writing it all! :) And, inspite of a few cuts, bruises and bumps on the head (Annie), they have arrived at the destination point of being totally ready for the inspection lady! My part in all this, you might ask? … I had the tremendously important job of trying not to spoil Emmett to pieces while he was here at our house, keeping Grandma busy so she wouldn’t get in the way over at his house ;)

And therefore, the reason for not posting here lately,… besides Fliting around of course.

There is a new post of a “Flit Welcoming (order) Form” and some items for purchase over in Flitland.

Matt just recently got a position with the California Forestry Service. Here he is in his uniform standing in front of his “spiffy” little pickup. I am proud of all my children and this is just one example of why…

John did it again! He has been busy at school again learning to make more awesome things. This time it was a dust pan… I would love to see him working on these things (: How does he do it !?! I still have some of the “treasures” his Grandpa Lyle, John’s namesake, made when he was in school. Maybe he takes after his Grandpa (:

Thanks John!!! Someday your daughters will treasure these things the same way I treasure the things my Daddy made in school (:

I have everything back in place now with my new computer and now it’s just a matter of learning my way around new versions of Photoshop and Office and we should be good! The Flits are taking up a good amount of my time right now trying to decide if they are a business or a hobby… any thoughts? You can visit them via this Flitland link. I’ll put some pictures up as soon as I figure out how to get them from my camera to Photoshop with out the usual “Twain”… Sunny Skies…

I am beginning to feel like I know my way around my new computer now… I have a couple of programs that I need to update because my old programs will not function on my new computer. They are a bit pricey and one of them is what I have been using to get pictures up here to share with you… So I am hoping for a little bit more of your patience and that getting things back up to speed won’t take too much longer… things to share are beginning to pile up here (:
